Anna Ziener

After a long journey in both theatre and film, through many festival shorts and anglophone theatre productions I ended up where I am now. With 6 years of experience in over 40 both paid and unpaid projects I’m constantly growing as a designer.

From a dozen teenage bedrooms to complete fairytales – my job has brought me many places and will bring me to many more, both real and imaginary. I’m originally from Stuttgart, and currently live, study and work in Graz, Austria.

My work in both theatre and film have benefitted each other over the years and formed my love for detail, out-of-the-box-thinking and strong concepts behind my designs. One of my greatest loves is fantasy and sci-fi, which largely benefits my stage and costume designs. Similarly, the seemingly infinite borders of world-building in stage design have influenced my work in film a great deal.
